MEETING MINUTES
Feb 18, 2021
Zoom Meeting
Attendees: Renee, Joe Rush, Tim Ochoa, Patty, Melisa and Raffi, Debbie Paul (BLM) and Bud Vid (Vid Consulting Inc).
Called to order 2:02 pm
Debbie Paul and Bud from BLM need access to the Mineral Ridge are to look at harvesting blown down material on Mineral Ridge. In order to get the area cleaned up, BLM will need to utilize Beauty Bay Road. They had determined that the best access would be through Bill’s property. Bill Braid had been contacted and agreed. If BBHOA agree, then an agreement will be made between BBHOA and Vid Consulting, Inc.
Treasurer’s report was given. Renee asked if there were any known bills of significance. Only open question is how much more snow removal will be required.
Review and follow up from last board meeting:
a. Rodgers large brush pile- Has been cleared and cleaned up
b. Lake water system- currently off of HOA insurance. Renee thinks we should have a utility easement for their water system. Joe requested that an easement to be presented to BBHOA from the Water System. Renee will call Bill and request it.
c. BBHOA stickers for summer – Debbie created the stickers. Each strip has 5 stickers. The stickers should be placed on the windshield.
d. Three large No Parking signs have been made for the commons parking lot. Joe B and Joe Rush will put them up. Tim suggested that 2 more trespassing signs be put up.
e. Road Oiling- Renee is working on compiling bids to save money this year. Lyman’s bid was $3275. The Road committee are exploring other options to cut down on the dust – light gravel may significantly reduce the need for oil. Erosion is also a problem.
f. Repair dock gate – Renee will ask for volunteers.
g. Architectural committee We would like to have an established committee working on guidelines. Goal would be to get approval from the board by June 1 st , 2021. The current members have not produced any guidelines. Renee gave them a template, but the committee has not produced anything. Action required by June 1.
h. Another addendum regarding the consolidation of lots was discussed. Consolidation burdens the Association financially. The addendum would state that dues are to stay the same as prior to consolidation. Shall we request that homeowners get approval from the Board prior to consolidation?
Spring Projects
a. Rock throwing party? Joe wonders if we were causing more erosion than if rocks were not moved.
b. Path through common area – crawler by Joe
b. Knocking down of red shed – crawler by Joe
The Board welcomed Raffi & Melisa to the neighborhood.
