MEETING MINUTES
July 15, 2021

Attendees: Renee Bordelon, Joe Rush, Tim Ochoa, Patty, Dan Sturgis, Jim Everett, Chris & Carrie Briner
Called to order 3:04 pm
Treasurer’s Report was reviewed. Discussion followed regarding the funding of the road maintenance.
Minutes from last meeting were approved.
Follow up from last meeting:
- “No trespassing” signs were purchased. A motion to reimburse Renee was made and passed.
- Boat Addendum needs to be recorded.
- Section 1, Article 1, #3 of the by-laws and CC&R’s need to be amended to include the Beauty Bay second addition.
- An addendum regarding the assessments of consolidated of lots assessment needs to be an addendum.
- No action has been taken on the Red shed. This will be on the agenda of the General Meeting to get member input on what exactly is desired.
- Water system easement.
- Boat assignments need to be tied to one specific lot. The boat assignment document needs to be updated. Last time the document was updated was 1999.
- Reconfiguring the docks to create addition slips for members on the waiting list was discussed and will be added to the Agenda for the General Meeting. Beach erosion is a problem. According to DOL, we cannot re-acquire the beach that has washed away.
New Business:
- Architectural Committee has drafted guidelines. Renee will distribute copies of the guidelines to the Board Members for their comments. Would like to finalize prior to annual meeting.
- Renee made a motion to purchase speed signs up to $75.00. Dan seconded. Motion passed.
- Beach committee needs to be formed.
- The Annual Meeting Agenda was drafted. Patty will send it to the Board members for finalization.
- Beauty Bay Resort and Marina has been purchased by a LLC formed by local residents. No plans have been made to develop the Resort property as of yet.
