Community Rules

Beauty Bay Homeowners Association

General Community Rules

  1. Be respectful of your neighbors… quiet please between 10:00pm and 9:00am.
  2. Reduce risk of fire… fireworks are prohibited in all areas, no exceptions.
  3. Be mindful to keep speed below 15mph on Beauty Bay Drive and spur roads.  This gives you a chance to respond to adults, children or wildlife that may be on the road. It also helps to reduce road dust.
  4. Dogs need to be leashed when other dogs or HOA members are present.
  5. Pets need to be current with vaccinations and have ID tags.
  6. Clean up after your dog(s) on Beauty Bay Estate… bag the poop and pack it out.  Nobody wants their kids playing near dog poop; it is a disease hazard.

Additional Considerations for the Docks and Common Areas

  1. Beach pass must be visible on person and parking pass must be displayed in the vehicle.
  2. Beauty Bay HOA has a “pack it in – pack it out” policy for all common areas including the beach, pavilion area and boat docks.
  3. Reservation for the pavilion area is on a first come basis. Add your event to the calendar located at the pavilion or contact the HOA Secretary.
  4. Same rules (#4, 5 & 6 above) apply to pets in these areas.
  5. Parking area is located in the car park behind the mail boxes on Highway 97.  No trailers please, there is not enough room at this location.
  6. Best access to the beach is via the culvert leading from the car park.
  7. If you are ‘hanging out’ on the docks be mindful to leave access to and from boat slips and ladders for other homeowners using the docks. Large groups of 6 or more people should move to shore.
  8. To remain in compliance with our insurance policy and Idaho Department of Lands dock lease, boats over 20 feet in length are not allowed.  In addition, you may park your boat, Jet Ski or other water craft only in your personal slip.  You may not tie off watercraft at the end of the dock or other place.
  9. Be mindful, the dock area and shoreline extending 200 feet out into the lake are no wake zones enforced by the State of Idaho.
  10. Restrooms are located at the Mineral Ridge trailhead.

Note: These rules also apply to renters.  Be mindful to make tenants aware of our rules.  They allow everyone to enjoy the facilities of Beauty Bay Homeowners Association.
